The Marathon of Sound Returns
Forget the winter blues; the NYC Winter Jazzfest is painting the town red, gold, and blue. Running January 8–13, 2026, this festival is the undisputed “cool kid” of the January calendar, famously known for its “Marathon” nights where one wristband gets you into dozens of venues in the West Village.
The Manhattan Marathon
On Friday, January 9, the Manhattan Marathon takes over venues like Le Poisson Rouge, Zinc Bar, and The Bitter End. Expect a mix of legendary masters and the bleeding edge of Gen-Z jazz talent. It is a chaotic, beautiful musical scavenger hunt.
